last night patrick told me he missed cooking for me. oooh boy, you have nooooo idea how much i miss having to holler "i'm hungry" and a plate of spaghetti pops up in front of my face 10 mins later! i definitely miss him cooking for me, yeah, more than he miss having to cook for me.

i was watching this documentary where two camera guys follow wildlife to capture them in their natural surroundings and learning about their lifestyles, then trying to convince the audience back home that we can co-exist with animals if we try to learn how.
it's very sad that we have come to this stage where we think we are separate entities from animals.
at one point they were saying that the mother bear protects her cubs just like how human mummies would protect their babies and how this must mean bears love their cubs.
erm, i think it's quite obvious but even then, if people can argue that animals are controlled by instints, so are we humans. i mean, when a mum gives birth, oxytocin is released and creates a 'bond' between mom and baby.
yes, we're very much just like animals.
think evolution.
speaking of evolution, if we have evolved from a common ancestor, be it some micro-organism, whatever, it means that there is no god. if there is no god, it means that when we die, all we leave behind is compost and memories in the mind of people who love us, if we may be so lucky.
this is scary.
so i'd like to elude myself into thinking that maybe there is someone in a control tower, watching over us.
ok, fine, that's quite unlikely. looks like we all die and contribute to the nitrogen cycle for life to carry on.
