i want to be a cat.
to be able to snooze 16 hours everyday,
without a care in the world.
it'd be fun to chase flies or some imaginery prey
during the very brief hours that i'm awake.
or to play under the covers and pretend
that i'm stalking a mouse or some other prey.

to be cuddled and loved.
to sleep in the sun.
to look at the laundry in the wind
till i tire and head back to bed.
