owen arrived! ph and i went to meet him at his hotel, went for jap dinner then headed to alley bar for drinks. later, we brought him down to attica but we were so sober. it's weird to be so sober. i've been pretty sober since i've been back. i have 2 theories on that:
1. the drinks in hk have double the amount of alcohol
2. i've grown intolerant of alcohol while in hk

champagne brunch at fullerton hotel!!!! i've had so much oysters! yummy... yeah, and oh god, all that champagne!

ph, owen and i went trekking at mac.ritchie res. i was a little disappointed with the hyped up treetop walk. i wasn't able to see a single fucking bird though it was sorta promised in the papers. we did, however, on our walk, see an elegant bronzeback snake, 2 clouded monitor lizards, a breathtakingly beautiful common hedge blue butterfly and about 4 plantain squirrels. oh, also quite a few long-tailed macaques.

i woke up to nausea, diarrhoea and fever. i refused to see a doctor until i felt so bad that i was going to pass out. the diagnosis was a stomach flu. i was given 6 different kinds of medication. see why i hate going to the doctor?

aujourd'hui (today)
my fever's still clinging on, refusing to die, while my head is spinning. my body is aching in so many places, i feel like it's going to fall off in bits. in spite of these, i have quite a day ahead. patrick will be starting work earlier so i'm calling up agents to look for a flat. i need to buy fubabies' supplies, go for tuition and if i haven't passed out, i need to buy moisturiser downtown.
yes, i'm just being whiney.
